I’m a writer specialising in East Asian cinema, independent and alternative music, and modern arts and culture.

I’ve hosted panels and discussions on music and film at The Barbican, The Prince Charles Cinema and The Cinema Museum, and I’ve been a guest on BBC Radio 1 and Arirang TV.

I work elsewhere as a music supervisor for film and television, and have over a decade’s experience across multiple roles in the music industry.
